Question:Rev Rudy, I've been praying for a new car for a couple of months now,
why hasn't God answered my request?
Answer:
Well God knows you’re heart better than you do, he probably knows that as
soon as he blesses you with a new car you, you are going to stop coming to
church, come to choir rehearsal late, begin missing communion (ya'll don't hear
me) pass people who are walking to your church pretending like you don't see
them ( I wish I had some help in hear) only God knows, so get your heart right
and he'll bless you when your are ready. Now tell the Lord thank you.

is a gospel playwright and stand-up comedian who, along with other cast members,
were raised in a predominantly African American church in Washington, DC,
whose doctrine is that of a liberation theology. |
Lessons Taught
was originally a radio program which Rev. Rudy expanded into this hilarious
stage play. |
Scenes
include a contemporary version of the three Hebrew boys, Abraham and Issac, and
the ever-mental charcter Deacon Hatcher who periodically flashes back to the
Vietnam War during the worship experience. |
Rev. Rudy
teaches lessons to Christians on how to handle bill collectors, a lesson to
ushers across America on how to enforce God's rules of church etiquette.
In addition, is the ever-popular airplane salvation story in which an atheist, a
Baptist preacher, a Muslim and a coward face death and they quickly and
comically find out how the differences in their beliefs become minuscule when
death is eminent. |
